Cloud services include any resource that is provided over the Internet. The most common cloud-service resources are: Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

We understand there may be some hesitation in moving your data to the cloud. However, through industry best practices and the processes and tools we use, we can confidently say that your data will be protected, private and secure―and your infrastructure stronger.

Your Question: Will our data be exposed to anyone and everyone?
The CopperTree Answer: Many cloud service providers comply with very strict protocols―such as PIPEDA and HIPAA―and their systems are just as secure as local ones.

Your Question: Isn’t keeping data on-site safer?
The CopperTree Answer: Not necessarily. Depending on your infrastructure we may suggest a hybrid solution.

Your Question: Will I experience downtime if I move to the cloud?
The CopperTree Answer: Many cloud service providers have service level agreements that guarantee uptime of 99.9% or higher ―the equivalent of 43 minutes of downtime per month. This is similar to the typical maintenance windows of on-premise systems.
